This is a half credit course that examines the production and exchange of goods and services in a global economy. This is especially important in an age where global markets depend on one another. Topics of study will include different types of economies, global supply and demand, market-clearing prices, saving and investing, different types of businesses, the stock market, local and global competition etc.
